Explore locationBarclays is looking for a highly capable Program Manager to lead and deliver complex capital projects across our Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) function. You will play a central role in shaping our workplace environment, driving project execution, and ensuring that real estate, engineering, and physical security initiatives support our strategic business objectives.
To be successful as a Program Manager you should have:
Proven experience in Design and Construction, delivering projects from concept through completion.
Demonstrable expertise in interior office design, creating functional and modern workplace environments.
Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and infrastructure within complex operational settings.
Solid experience in scheduling and project delivery, managing timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
Effective vendor management skills, including procurement, negotiation, and performance oversight.
Prior Financial Services industry experience, operating within regulated environments and governance frameworks.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and space plans.
Strong capability with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly for reporting and analysis.
Experience using scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet to track and manage project plans.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.
This role is based in London.
