Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as a Strategy and Execution Support Officer, you will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring successful delivery across complex programmes.
To be successful as a Strategy and Execution Support Officer, you should have experience with:
Programme & project management : Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of milestones.
Stakeholder management & communication: Skilled at building relationships, influencing decision-making, and providing clear, concise updates to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Analytical & problem solving skills: Capable of interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights to support informed business decisions.
Financial and risk awareness such as cost tracking and budgeting: Understanding of financial controls, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation strategies to maintain project health and compliance.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Prior experience working within Barclays: Familiarity with internal processes, governance frameworks, and organisational culture.
Change management experience: Knowledge of methodologies to support smooth transitions during organisational or process changes.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment: Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and delivering results under tight timelines.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in London.
