Explore locationJoin Barclays as a CFO Business Partnering & Controls VP where you’ll have the chance to act as a liaison and trusted advisor to global business, driving financial insight, governance, and control excellence. In this role you will be responsible for leading financial planning processes (including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategy), while ensuring the integrity of financial information and regulatory reporting. You will deliver actionable analysis and metrics to senior management, support major planning exercises such as stress testing, and partner with business heads on strategic initiatives and new product approvals. Additionally, you will oversee risk and control frameworks, resolve complex issues, and champion process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
To be successful as a CFO Business Partnering & Controls VP, you should have:
Ability to interpret complex financial data, simplify concepts, and deliver actionable insights using advanced tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Strong capability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, tailor communication for diverse audiences, and influence decision-making in a dynamic environment.
Adaptability in Complex Business Environments – Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary setting, managing change while ensuring accuracy and control.

This role is located in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $150,000
Maximum Salary: $210,000

Purpose of the role
To provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions.
