SPO Esoteric Origination Vice President

As a VP on the SPO team, you will work with both senior and junior bankers on transaction execution and new business origination activities. The specific responsibilities of the role may include financial analysis/modeling, industry and market-based research, preparation of offering memoranda, coordination of internal and external processes related to a capital markets transaction and warehouse facilities and assistance in the proposals, and other written materials/client presentations.

To be successful as a SPO Esoteric Origination Vice President, you should have experience with:

• Solid understanding of various financial instruments, securitized products, and the broader financial market
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, CAS, and SEI systems
• Expertise in financial analysis and modeling
• Bachelor’s degree with SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 licenses
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for collaboration

This role is located in New York.

This role is FINRA regulated.

Minimum Salary: $155,000

Maximum Salary: $250,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To raise capital and manage the financial risk of clients, including financial advisory services, identification and origination of market opportunities, research, economic analysis. 

Accountabilities

• Identification and cultivation of relationships with potential clients, including corporations, institutions, or government entities.
• Market research and analysis to identify industry trends, potential deal opportunities, and client needs.
• Collaboration with internal teams to develop pitch materials, financial models, and presentations for client meetings and transactions.
• Structuring and execution of deals, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services.
• Due diligence process coordination, timeline management, and liaising between various stakeholders involved in transactions.
