Step into the role of AVP – Versana Live Support at Barclays, where you'll provide first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding our clients and organization with expertise and care.

The team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met. This role involves a very high degree of engagement with multiple stakeholders, business partners, across different business functions and groups while building and maintaining relationships with leaders and their teams. Support continuous improvement of the operational process and the development of Best Practice. Suggesting ideas to improve systems and processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such proposals. 

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

  • Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending Queries including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.

  • Identifying bugs and trying to fix with the technology team.

  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.

  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for Automation

  • Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.

  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.

  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.

Desirable Skillsets:

1. Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of Wholesale Lending lifecycle (Loan Servicing, Trading, Closing).

  • Familiarity with systems like Loan IQ, Versana, and ACBS.

  • Ability to identify and resolve bugs in collaboration with technology teams.

2. Analytical & Problem-Solving

  • Assessing operational processes for gaps and recommending improvements.

  • Driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.

3. Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with across teams.

This role is based out of Noida.

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with stakeholders and use data and MI to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation in relevant business areas. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations, using data led insights.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve performance & optimisation   efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development of reports and presentations on performance & optimisation and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments, and collaboration with stakeholders across the bank to provide recommendations for change and improvement within performance and optimisation processes.
  • Development and implementation of analytics and reporting performance & optimisation to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
  • Identification of capacity creation in operations using data and Management Information.
