To be successful as a “Global MI Senior Developer", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Must have bachelor’s degree.
Experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years using Databricks.
Strong proficiency in Apache Spark and Delta Lake optimization (Merge operations, Z-ordering, Liquid Clustering).
Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift).
Advanced ETL/ELT development using modern frameworks and tools.
Working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Expert-level skills in Python, SQL, and Scala.
Databricks certification.
AWS certification (Solutions Architect or Data Analytics).
Experience with data governance and security frameworks.
Familiarity with streaming data architectures.
Design and implement large-scale data architectures using Databricks on AWS.
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for high-performance data processing.
Build and maintain Delta Lake solutions with advanced optimization techniques.
Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Implement best practices for data modelling, pipeline orchestration, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective, scalable solutions.
Mentor junior team members on technical standards and architectural patterns.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Proven track record of designing and implementing production-grade data solutions.
Strong understanding of data modelling, warehousing concepts, and performance optimization.
Experience with CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills with ability to work independently.
This role is based out of Pune.

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across various business units.
