Explore locationJoin us as a US Resolution Strategy & Plan Development AVP at Barclays where you will be responsible for supporting US regulatory activities and deliverables. Annually, you will help ensure US resolution capabilities are implemented by the business and functions in line with regulatory requirements. The US Resolution Plan is a triennial filing which will be the primary focus during a plan submission year. This is a highly visible and cross-functional role involving significant opportunities to engage with senior management.
To be successful as a US Resolution Strategy & Plan Development AVP, you should have:
Experience in investment banking/financial services, at a regulatory agency or management consultancy
Ample analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Excellent organization and business writing skills
The ability to multi-task and work through conflicting priorities
Exceptional organization and attention to detail and the ability to work independently on a variety of competing tasks
Experience as a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CoPilot
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of US regulatory requirements with respect to US resolution planning; similar regulatory requirements may be considered as well
Experience with controls environment development and or completing assessments
Working with senior stakeholders
US regulatory agency interactions and rules/guidance interpretation
Knowledge of Workiva (WDesk)
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in the Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $95,000
Maximum Salary: $120,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
