Explore locationJoin us as a Content Production Manager at Barclays, where you’ll be primarily responsible for building, maintaining, testing, publishing, and optimising content across Barclays UK’s public and secure digital platforms. You will ensure all content is accurate, compliant, and ready for customers. Positioned at the forefront of digital delivery, you will work closely with various teams to efficiently manage and enhance customer-facing content. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities, optimising content management tools, and supporting the development and training of team members.
To be successful as a Content Production Manager, you should have experience with:
Expert proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and deep hands‑on experience with content management systems, including Adobe Workfront, Adobe Assets, Jira, and Confluence
Proven background in line managing and supporting teams to manage content management change effectively and efficiently to digital channels, encompassing coaching, training, as well as mentoring colleagues to promote professional growth
Great understanding of digital channels, and how content is structured, deployed, and optimised across both public and secure platforms.
Technical knowledge of integrations between AEM and associated tools and applications, delivering content seamlessly to Barclays UK domains.
Experience building content for public and secure environments, such as public websites, mobile apps and online banking journeys
Close collaboration with technical teams, demonstrating the ability to work effectively alongside developers throughout the build and release process
Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language for non‑technical audiences
Solid awareness of governance, risk, and control, ensuring all published content meets compliance requirements and actively identifying gaps
Championing and upholding best practice in content management system (CMS) governance, including semantic content governance and reuse strategies
Ability to collaborate with global teams to ensure aligned and efficient content delivery
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in channel performance management and personalisation, with the ability to analyse and interpret how digital content performs across multiple customer touchpoints
Foundational understanding of HTML and CSS
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in either London or Glasgow.
