Explore locationJoin us as a Product and Proposition Manager - Faster Payments at Barclays where you will help shape the future of banking by managing all domestic payments with a particular focus on Faster Payments and electronic payments. The team is responsible for ensuring the safe and convenient movement of money for customers across all channels, making sure funds are accurately received and aligned with regulatory requirements. The role will contribute to optimising the customer journey, strengthening the payments control environment, and driving innovation within payments services.
The successful candidate will be customer-focused, with an understanding of customer journey frameworks and digital services offered by Barclays. They will combine a good governance and control mindset with good numeracy and analytical competencies. The role requires excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to present complex ideas clearly. Building good stakeholder relationships and working effectively within delivery environments will also be key.

Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
