Explore locationJoin us as a Senior Product and Proposition Manager - Current Account Product Development, where you will help shape the future of banking by managing the end-to-end delivery of current account and payment products, including overdrafts. Responsibilities include driving commercial performance, ensuring technical delivery of regulatory changes, and leading transformation. With significant investment planned for 2026, the focus will be on enhancing the product set to retain existing customers and attract new ones by optimising customer journeys. Strategic priorities include improving offerings for youth accounts, packaged bank accounts, and overdraft journeys, alongside planning and executing the launch of new product ranges.
To be successful as a Product and Proposition Manager - Current Accounts and Payments, you should have:
Extensive demonstrable experience of working with and managing a broad range of stakeholders in a matrix environment
Considerable understanding of Customer journey management and improvement
Significant experience of using data to make decisions and recommendations.
AGILE delivery experience.
Demonstrable commercial acumen.
Good understanding of risk and control frameworks

This role can be based in London, Northampton, Manchester, or Glasgow.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
